Advisory Counsel

You’ve never seen transactional legal service quite like this.

Get unlimited access to your business attorney for $99 per month. (Really.)

Problem: You need legal advice only every so often. You would like your lawyer to have an understanding of who you are, to be available to give advice when you need it, and to do small tasks for you from time to time. But you do not want to front a $1,000 (or $5,000 or $10,000) advance fee deposit or retainer, and you prefer not shell out $28.20 for every six minutes that your lawyer works for you.[1]

Answer: Evolvitas’ Advisory Counsel.

Our Advisory Counsel service provides you with a steady advisor to whom you have unlimited access for basic transactional legal assistance.

By signing up for our month-to-month Advisory Counsel service, you will engage us to be your ongoing attorney team available to answer legal questions as they arise. We can review documents, discuss legal strategy with you, and perform basic research — all at a predictable, fixed rate.

Only the Essentials

The following services are included:

  • Ongoing, unlimited access to your attorney team for legal questions or advice.
  • Discussion of any contractual or transactional matter with your attorney team. There is no time limit, so we will make sure that you receive the advice you need.
  • Basic statutory or regulatory research to get you answers to pressing questions.
  • Review by your attorney team of up to three legal documents per month. These documents may include contracts, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, wills, insurance policies, leases, or any other contractual, transactional, or estate planning document. When we review documents for you, we will help you understand the implications, the strengths, and the weaknesses that those documents carry for your situation.

Pricing

We have made our Advisory Counsel services available at an incredibly affordable rate:

  • $99 set up, $99 per month

Here at Evolvitas innovation is core to who we are, and we are excited to bring you a value that would be hard to find anywhere else. And if you are wondering why we are offering professional legal services in such an affordably priced package, it is because we think you will be so pleased with our service that when you have more substantial needs (like when you start a business or need a contract drafted), you will want to give us a call.

Specifics

A few limitations apply to our Advisory Counsel service. For example, we ask that any legal document you have us review be no longer than 15,000 words. For comparison, a standard residential or commercial lease agreement will usually run to about 4,000 words. Also, unused document reviews will not carry over or accrue.

Advisory Counsel services are for transactional, contractual, or estate planning matters only, and they do not extend to any lawsuit, prosecution, or other litigation matter. Our Terms of Service have further details, as well. Because this is a subscription service, we require you to authorize recurring charges to your credit or debit card or to your PayPal account. And finally, Advisory Counsel is a month to month service, so you can cancel at any time.

If you have further questions, please have a look at our Advisory Counsel FAQ or give us a call. We would love to hear from you!

If you are in need of the functioning equivalent of in-house corporate counsel, we do that too! For those clients who need ongoing legal services that are more involved than Advisory Counsel, please call us to inquire about Advisory Counsel Plus or Dedicated Counsel.
